DEXTER -- Frank Swift, 79, of Dexter, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 1994, at Dexter Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 6, 1914, at Dexter, son of Henry and Mattie Lee Hudson Swift. He and Grace Brotherton were married Jan. 4, 1936, in Essex. She died Jan. 17, 1994...

DEXTER -- Frank Swift, 79, of Dexter, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 1994, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 6, 1914, at Dexter, son of Henry and Mattie Lee Hudson Swift. He and Grace Brotherton were married Jan. 4, 1936, in Essex. She died Jan. 17, 1994.

Swift was a retired store owner, and attended the General Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Elizabeth Wade of Clio, Mich., and Ella Robinson of Dexter.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery here.
