McCLURE, Ill. Frank Raymond Widdows, 81, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of McClure, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 1992, at the home of a daughter in Paducah.

He was born March 17, 1911, in New Madrid, Co., son of Claude and Florence Turner Widdows. He and Opal Wren were married Sept. 23, 1939, at Charleston.

He farmed for a time in the East Prairie, Mo., area. He later owned and operated a sanitation business in McClure, retiring in 1979. The Widdows moved to Paducah in 1979, and he was a member of Gospel Assembly Church there.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Frank Widdows of Tyler, Texas; five daughters, Mary Motes and Wanda Widdows of Paducah, Nelda Mouser of Sikeston, Agnes Schmidt and Linda Warner of Tulsa, Okla.; three brothers, Ralph and Claude Widdows of Peoria, Oneal Widdows of East Prairie; three sisters, Margie Spainhaur of Peoria, Agnes Bearden of Hobbs, N.M., Henrietta Baker of Florida; 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau, Mo. The Revs. Encil Edmonds and Michael Hunt will officiate, with burial in Lindsey Cemetery here.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
