ADVANCE -- Frank Kalinski, 73, of Advance died Friday, Nov. 13, 1998, at his home, following an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 1, 1925, in Decatur, Ill., son of Frank O. and Nellie Oyler Kalinski. He and Shirley Corbin were married Sept. 14, 1951, in Advance.
Kalinski was a retail merchant in Advance 20 years. He was a member of Advance United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Murray State University in Murray, Ky.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Tom Kalinski of Advance; a brother, Robert Kalinski of Ben Wheeler, Texas; a half brother, LeRoy Plunkett of Findley, Ill.; and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5:30-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clinton Woodfin officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
