TAMMS, Ill. -- Frank L. Crider, 73, formerly of Tamms, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, at Illinois Veterans Home in Anna, Ill.
He was born Sept. 6, 1928, at Tamms, son of John Logan and Dora Hardy Crider. His wife, Frances Mary "Susie" Crider, died in 1987.
Crider was a retired truck driver and a member of Hoffman Estates Catholic Church.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include three sisters, Gen Hendrick of Ullin, Ill., Jean Lingle of Tamms and Marie Brown of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and five brothers.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms after 6 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Burial will be Monday at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles, Ill.
