DEXTER -- Francis Fay Williamson, 79, of Dexter died Thursday, Feb. 8, 1996, at the Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 15, 1916, in Stoddard County, daughter of Andy Elmer Rankin and Fannie Bolin Rankin.
She was a retired nurse's aid from the Dexter Memorial Hospital.
On May 12, 1935, she married A.F. Williamson at Bloomfield.
She is survived by two sons, Arvel Lonell Williamson and Jerry Elmer Williamson, both of Dongola, Ill.; four daughters, Betty Ivester of Scott City, Dorothy Dawes of Goreville, Ill, Janus Cole of Marion, Ill., and Emma Nell Kimbrel of Bloomfield; a sister, Virginia Penton of Bogalusa, La.; 20 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Rainey Funeral Home chapel in Dexter, with the Rev. Don Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
Visitation was held Saturday.
