SIKESTON -- Francis F. "Frank" Goetz, 80, of Sikeston, died Monday, Nov. 25, 1991, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
He was born Sept. 30, 1911, in New Madrid County, son of John Lawrence and Daisy Lee Frohock Goetz. He and Theta L. Pry were married Nov. 24, 1934, at Benton.
Goetz worked at International Shoe Co. here 15 years, and had farmed. He was a member of First United Pentecost Church.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Francis and Louie Goetz of Sikeston, Johnny Goetz of Sellersburg, Ind., Jerry Goetz of Fayetteville, Ga., Terry Goetz of McDonough, Ga.; two daughters, Glenda Woods of Jeffersonville, Ind., Patricia Stroup of La Place, La.; three brothers, Cletus and R.C. Goetz of Bettendorf, Iowa, Lester Goetz of New Haven, Mich.; four sisters, Fern McCain and Lila Foote of Sikeston, Kathryn Dirickson of Bettendorf, Estell Johnson of Centerville, Iowa; 13 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister and three grandsons.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at United Pentecost Church. The Rev. Billie Butler will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Leonard Connor. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 5 p.m. Friday, and until 10 a.m. Saturday.
