SCOTT CITY -- Francis August "Joe" Lusk, 64, of Hiram, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 1994, at John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis.
He was born Aug. 3, 1930, at Grays Point, son of William Francis and Iva Florence Jones Lusk. He and Beulah Marie Lee were married March 17, 1956, in Scott City.
Lusk had been a hand sewer at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church at Silva. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Joe Lusk of Scott City; two daughters, Debra Mansker and Cindy VanPool of Scott City; three sisters, Pearl Halter of Jackson, Viola Surface of Perryville, Dorothy Lusk of Scott City, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dennis Allen officiating. Burial will be in New Liberty Jacktown Cemetery near Silva.
