Frances M. Schaaf, 95, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born Sept. 17, 1908, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Charles and Ellen Davenport Beal. She and Anton F. Schaaf were married in 1927, at Benton, Mo. He died Aug. 7, 1967.
Mrs. Schaaf had been a grocery clerk at Fischer's Market and Ratliff Grocery Store. She was a member of the Church of God, and had been a volunteer with Salvation Army and American Cancer Society.
Survivors include a son, William Voelker of Pocahontas; five grandchildren, Kenny Voelker of Jackson, Doug Voelker of Cape Girardeau, Pam Evans of Jackson, Tina Trickey of Cape Girardeau, Rick Voelker of Hillsboro, Mo.; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
There is no visitation.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Kitchen will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
