Frances Meisenheimer

JONESBORO, Ill. — Frances "Frankie" Meisenheimer, 85, died Monday, May 26, 2008, at the Jonesboro Health Care Center.

She was born July 17, 1922, at Jonesboro, daughter of Harry and Mae Jackson Wilson. She and Henry A. Meisenheimer were married Sept. 3, 1938, in Jackson. He died Aug. 14, 1996.

Meisenheimer worked at the Anna Shoe Factory for 27 years and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Jonesboro.

Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Blandford of Jonesboro; a sister, Violet Boyd of Jonesboro; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by five sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
