DEXTER -- Funeral service for Frances Louise Light of Dexter will be held at 10 a.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield. The Rev. Everett Enloe will officiate, with burial in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery near Round Springs.
Light, 47, died Sunday, July 3, 1994, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 21, 1947, in Gorham, Ill., daughter of George Samuel and Pearl Bowin Malone. She and David W. Light Sr. were married Feb. 21, 1965, at Salem.
The Lights had lived in Dexter 15 years. She was a member of Apostolic Assembly Church of Bell City, where her husband was pastor. She was a Sunday School teacher, and president of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; a son, David Light Jr. of Dexter; two daughters, Jeannie Surprise and Dianna Harris of Dexter; three brothers, Edward Malone of Scott City, George and Billy Malone of Salem; a sister, Betty Shipley of Dexter, and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
