Frances J. Whitmore, 57, 2403 Sunny Lane, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 1995, at her home.
She was born April 28, 1938, in St. Louis, daughter of Lawrence and Vivian Skaggs Holbrook. She and John Whitmore were married Nov. 19, 1964, in St. Louis. He died Feb. 4, 1983.
Whitmore was a member of Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, a Sunday School teacher and custodian.
Survivors include two sons, Donnie and David Whitmore of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Christine Whitmore of Chaffee, Roxana Coleman of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Danny Holbrook of Festus, Tommy and Terry Holbrook of St. Louis, Mike Holbrook of Chicago; two sisters, Gloria Whithroe of Park Hills, Diane Bowling of Pevely, and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith Tabernacle Church. The Rev. Doyle Randol will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
