FRANCES J. MORINEAU

ZALMA -- Frances J. Morineau, 87, of Cahokia, Ill., died Wednesday, May 10, 1995, at Cahokia Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born April 8, 1908, at Zalma, daughter of John and Mary Hovis Bess. She married Louis Morineau July 15, 1950. He preceded her in death.

Morineau had worked at Bess IGA in Maplewood, Park, Ill. She was a member of Maplewood Park Baptist Church and its XYZ Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Marie Vallowe of Freeburg, Ill., Rosella Brown of Belleville, Ill.; a sister, Essie Fadler of Flat River; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Braun Colonial Funeral Home in Cahokia from 4-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Andy DeWitt officiating. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. at Berrong Cemetery in Gipsy.
