EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Frances Houser, 76, of East Prairie died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born April 4, 1926, at Anniston, Mo., daughter of Charles Andy and Hattie Mae Thurman Calhoun. She married Raythel Lee Brock, who preceded her in death.
Houser was a nurse and had worked at Missouri Delta Medical Center and area nursing homes. She was a member of Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Thurman Calhoun of Ontario, Calif., Billy Calhoun of Chino, Calif.; two sisters, Halene DeLeon of East Prairie, Bobbi Anderson of Anniston; five grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, a son, two sisters, and a brother.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Burl Britt officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Cemetery.
