SCOTT CITY -- Frances M. Hopkins, 68, of Ocala, Fla., died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at Monroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala.
She was born July 3, 1920, at Fornfelt, daughter of Benjamin and Margaret Shipton Sharp. She married Ollie S. Hopkins.
Hopkins received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University, and a master's degree in education from the University of Missouri.
She was a retired teacher, and had lived in Ocala since 1984.
Hopkins was a member, elder and deacon at Silver Springs Shores Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and past matron of Belleview Chapter; member and past noble grand of the Rebekah Lodge; and member of Florida Alpha Kappa.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Amber Glisson of Ocala, Judith Sims of Dallas, Texas, Mary Miller of Jackson; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, two brothers, and a sister.
Friends may call at Roberts Downtown Chapel in Ocala from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Silver Springs Shores Church, with the Rev. Alan Cummings officiating.
