SIKESTON -- Frances L. Hinkle, 79, of Sikeston died Friday, Dec. 11, 1998, at Miner Nursing Center in Miner.
She was born March 22, 1919, in Paris, Tenn., daughter of Louis and Tine Cruse Holly.
She was a housewife and member of the Riceville Baptist Church in Fulton, Ky.
On Sept. 23, 1935, in Fulton, she married Jewell R. Hinkle. He died March 5, 1995.
She is survived by seven daughters, Sue Dooley of Birmingham, Ala., June Morgan of Sikeston, Charlotte Hoover and Darlene Hetherly, both of Wappapello, Dianna Hall of Dewitt, Iowa, Joanna Runnella of Des Moines, Iowa, Donna Downs of Colona, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, five sisters and a grandson preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Donny Haynes of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Miner officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
