SCOTT CITY -- Funeral Mass for Frances Marie Heisserer of Scott City will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. David Coon will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 4 p.m. Thursday. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m., followed by Knights of Columbus service at 7:15.

Heisserer, 75, died Monday, Aug. 30, 1999, at her home.

She was born July 10, 1924, at Bridgeton, daughter of Joseph Henry and Lovia May Rockett Sietman. After the death of her father she was raised by her stepfather, Charles G. Diebold. She and Linus Aloysius Heisserer were married Sept. 8, 1943, at Oran.

Heisserer moved from Austin, Texas, to Scott City 32 years ago. She was a member of St. Joseph Church.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Gus Heisserer of Scott City, William Heisserer of Plano, Texas, Anthony Heisserer of Cape Girardeau; five daughters, Jane Jamaitis of Manchester, Conn., Linda Mason and Karen Beggs of Scott City, Delores Chambers of Manhattan, Kan., Lisa Eftink of Benton; two sisters, Marcella Tressler of Chester, Ill., Helen Reischman of Oran; and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, and three brothers.
