FRANCES COURTOIS

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Frances W. Courtois, 88, of Perryville died Sunday, April 29, 2001, at Barnes Extended Care in Clayton, Mo.

She was born Dec. 25, 1912, at Biehle, Mo., daughter of Frank and Theresa Kirn Unterreiner. She and Albert J. Courtois were married April 23, 1940, at Perryville. He died Aug. 31, 1975.

Courtois had worked at International Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and Western Catholic Union.

Survivors include two sons, Ed Courtois of Florissant, Mo., Bob Courtois of Silver Lake, Mo.; two daughters, Mary Hunt of Hillsboro, Mo., Patricia Gormley of St. Louis; a brother, Raymond Unterreiner of Brewer, Mo.; a sister, Lorena Horschman of Perryville; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. Parish prayers by Daughters of Isabella will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
