FRANCES CAPLAN

CAIRO, Ill. -- Frances Caplan, 74, of Fullerton, Calif., died Monday, Feb. 14, 1994, in Fullerton.

She was born May 6, 1919, in Cairo, daughter of Charles T. and Emma Deweese Huey.

Caplan worked for Sony Corp. of America 23 years, retiring as personnel manager.

Survivors include a daughter, Kay Melvin of Palm Desert, Calif.; three granddaughters, and a great-granddaughter.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mayfield Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Bardwell, Ky.

Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
