FRANCES C. CRUSE

SCOTT CITY -- Frances C. Cruse, 74, of Scott City died Saturday, Aug. 16, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born March 14, 1923, in Fornfelt, a daughter of William and Mary Jane Bollinger Brooks. She and Vernon "Rex" Cruse were married Feb. 9, 1941. He preceded her in death.

Cruse was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church of Scott City.

Survivors include a son, Robert E. Curse of Florissant; a daughter, Deborah Cox of Scott City; a sister, Dorothy Spink of St. Peters; and four grandchildren.

Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call today after 4 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the chapel with the Rev. Neil Franks and the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
