JACKSON -- M. Frances Barnes, 83, of Jackson died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 12, 1915, at Mineola, daughter of James Robert and Martha Zelma Page Barker. She married Clyde Barnes.
Barnes had worked at Continental Bag Co. in Mexico, Mo. She was a member of Mineola Baptist Church. She moved to Jackson more than nine years ago from Mexico.
Survivors include a son, Terry Barnes of Mexico; three daughters, Patricia Carpenter of Guernsey, Wyo., Pamela Badino of Washington, Mo., Jackie Wortmann of Jackson; two brothers, Robert "Bob" Barker of Mexico, Lyman "Pete" Barker of Santa Rosa, Calif.; five sisters, Cora Frazier, Ruth Boulware and Mary Barker, all of Mexico, Lillian Arnhold of Scottsdale, Ariz., Kathryn McElfresh of Shelbyville; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother, and a sister.
Friends may call at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.
