CHARLESTON -- Mary Frances "Fran" Kuykendall, 65, of Charleston died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, in Kansas City.
She was born Aug. 29, 1934, in Charleston, daughter of Jasper McDonald "Mack" and Velma Catherine Mitchell Williams. She and Bill Edwards were married Aug. 25, 1949.
Kuykendall lived in Charles-ton most of her life, and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bill Edwards Jr. of Weaubleau, Dennis Edwards of Raytown, Rodney Edwards of Kansas City; three daughters, Donna Atkins of Independence, Regina Wachter of Bonner Springs, Kan., Robin Lee of Concord, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Terri Clark of Raymore; two stepsons, Tim Kuykendall of Belton, Keith Kuykendall of Lees Summit; a brother, Bob Williams of St. Louis; two sisters, Opal Ashley and Genevieve Brashears of Charleston; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and 16 stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bill Summers will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
