Funeral for Foy Blissette of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Charles Seabaugh will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Friends may call at the chapel from 4-7 p.m. today.

Blissette, 95, died Thursday, May 6, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Jan. 24, 1904, in Re, Texas, son of William Wimberly and Georgia Parile Ware Blissette. He and Helen Parsons were married Sept. 27, 1934, in Waterloo, Ill. She died Dec. 1, 1997.

Blissette had been a truck driver. He lived in Corsicana, Texas, then in Cedar Creek, Texas, from 1960 until moving to Cape Girardeau in 1991.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge 1431 in Texas.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Elsie Seabaugh and June Gallagher; and a brother-in-law, Virgil Parsons.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
