He was born Feb. 18, 1939, in Alexander County, Ill., the son of James W. and Viola Holmes Baughman. Floyd Odell Baughman, 58, of DeSoto, Ill., and formerly of Anna-Jonesboro died Thursday, Aug. 14, 1997, in Anna.
He was born Feb. 18, 1939, in Alexander County, Ill., the son of James W. and Viola Holmes Baughman.
He was well known in the Union County area, where he worked for many home owners and businesses as well as school and park districts.
He was a member of the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna.

He is survived by his father and an aunt.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a grandmother.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna, with the Rev. Charles E. Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna after 11 a.m. today.
Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
