SIKESTON -- Floyd King, 80, a former resident of Dudley and Poplar Bluff, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston.

He was born Sept. 13, 1919, in Fagus, son of Frank and Effie Patterson King.

He was retired from General Motors and served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by a sister, Juanita Rodgers of Poplar Bluff.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers and two sisters.

There will be no visitation.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Dudley Cemetery in Dudley with the Rev. Jerry L. Metcalf officiating.

Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
