WYATT, Mo. -- Floyd M. Brown, 71, of Wyatt died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was born Feb. 24, 1929, in Wyatt, son of John Joseph and Maggie Belle Goode Brown.
He had lived in Wyatt his entire life and had been employed by the Brown Shoe Co. in Charleston, Mo., until his retirement. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wyatt.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II as a military policeman.
Survivors include three brothers, Edward Brown of Wyatt and Clifford Brown and Estel Brown, both of Brawley, Calif.; two sisters, Mary Todd of Wyatt and Dorothy Griggs of Brawley; and a special friend, Betty Sue Brown of Wyatt.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Charles L. Carr officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
