WAPPAPELLO -- Floyd Almon Davis, 67, of Wappapello, died Tuesday, May 16, 1995, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

He was born April 4, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, son of William S. and Mary Lowery Davis.

Davis was retired from Federal Mogul in Malden, and was a member of the Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include six sons, Raymond Davis of Joliet, Ill., Floyd Davis of Homestead, Herbert, Matthew and Donald Davis of Wappapello, Christopher Davis of Bernie; a daughter, Lorie Dock of Bernie; two sisters, Ruby Nicks of St. Louis, Mary Young of Wappapello, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 7 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Terry Stockman officiating. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
