Floy L. Hopper, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at her home.

She was born Feb. 24, 1908, at Swinton, daughter of Albert H. Finley and Flaura B. Grayum Finley.

She married Clarence "Doots" Hopper Sept. 12, 1927, at Anna.

She worked for International Shoe Mfg. 30 years as a shoe cutter.

She was a member of Eastern Star and former officer in Ben Hur Lodge. She was a member of West Side Senior Citizens Group; VFW Auxiliary; and Maple United Methodist Church. She was active in PTA, delivered Meals on Wheels and was a greeter at her church. She was honored by the Missouri House on her 65th wedding anniversary and received a presentation by Rep. Mary Kasten.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Dick Hopper, of Derby, Kan.; a daughter, Shirley Carosello Trainum of Bella Vista, Ark.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
