FLOY JACKSON

SIKESTON -- Floy O. Jackson, 81, of Matthews died Friday, April 28, 2000, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 29, 1918, at Lauderdale County, Ala., daughter of John Orville and Tennie Leslie Gray LeMay. She and James Doyal Jackson were married Dec. 29, 1939, at Vina, Ala. He died July 15, 1992.

She attended the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Bruce Jackson of Van Buren; two daughters, Brenda Hall of Red Bay, Ala., and Leslie Whitten of Matthews; three brothers, J.O. LeMay Jr. of Red Bay, Franklin LeMay of Parma and Talmadge LeMay of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four sisters, Opal Carpenter of Red Bay, Ellawee Sparks of Tuscumbia, Ala., Juanita Dempsey of Memphis, Tenn., and Wanda Blackwell of Sevierville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery.
