CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Floy E. Porter, 95 years old, of 2525 Boutin Drive, died Friday, April 19, 1991, at the Cape LaCroix Nursing Home.
She was born July 31, 1895 at Leora, daughter of Trusten P. and Elizabeth Beal Randol.
She married William C. Porter on Sept. 21, 1912 at Morley. He died Jan. 22, 1963.
She had been a cook at Southeast Missouri Hospital, retiring Jan. 10, 1967.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, and a former member of the Sunday school class.
Surviving are two sons, Hess Porter, Benton, and W.C. Porter Jr. of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Richard Porter of Orange, Texas, David Porter of Memphis, Tenn., Julia Woodfin of Cape Girardeau, and Peggy James of St. Clair.; and nine great-grandchildren.
A daughter, two brothers, and one granddaughter preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel from 3 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel with the Rev. S.S. Borum officiating. Burial will be in the Old Morley Cemetery.
