JACKSON -- Flossie Smith, 81, of Jackson, died Monday, June 21, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 15, 1911, at Patton, daughter of Charles and Minnie M. Brotherton Wilson. She and Jesse Norman Smith were married Nov. 18, 1933. He died Aug. 1, 1992.
The Smiths moved to Jackson in 1957 from Millersville. She was a beautician from 1957 until retiring, and was a member of Millersville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Monroe Wilson of Boise, Idaho, Eugene Wilson of Jackson; three sisters, Delsie Clark and Grace Martin of Millersville, Virgie Seabaugh of Jackson; a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Fred Rister will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
