FLOSSIE MARIE WADDILL

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Flossie Marie Waddill, 93, died Tuesday at the Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.

She was born March 18, 1897 near Greentop, the daughter of Charles F. and Emily Clearwater Boon.

On April 27, 1918, she married Travis Waddill at Greentop. He preceded her in death in 1966.

She was a member of the Greentop United Methodist Church, the Order of Eastern Star and the United Methodist Women of Greentop.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Betty Kempfer of Gordonville and Mrs. Doris June Barks of St. Louis.; a brother, William M. Boon of Quincy, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Brown of Ft. Collins, Colo.; five grandchilren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great, great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau. A funeral service and burial will be at Greentop at a date to be announced.
