Florida Mae Ross-McComb, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 22, 1931, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Floyd and Mary Elizabeth Primm Pettit. She married Alvirgil McComb, who preceded her in death.
Ross-McComb was a social worker at East Community Action Center in St. Louis, and was a receptionist at Family Resource Center in Cape Girar-deau from 2005 to 2007.
She was a member of Rhema Word Breakthrough International Ministries, where she was assistant director of the Mothers Board, and was an adviser to the Women's Ministry.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Boyd and Carla Whitney of Jackson; a brother, Floyd Pettit Jr. of Greensboro, N.C.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at Rhema Word Ministries.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the church, with Dr. Anthony Green officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Williams Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
