JACKSON -- Florentine L. Wagner, 105, of Jackson died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 18, 1893, at High Ridge, daughter of Gerhardt W. and Louise Caroline Hess Wolgast. She and Henry J. Wagner were married on Nov. 26, 1914, at St. Louis. He died Dec. 16, 1972.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. She was a member of the Lydia Kies Circle at the church and taught Sunday School.
She was a member of the Eastern Star where she was a worthy matron.
Survivors include two sons, H. Kenneth and Roland Wagner, both of Jackson, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the chapel. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
