Florence Smith

FARMINGTON, Mo. -- Florence Willard Smith, 96, of Farmington, formerly of Patton, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at her home.

She was born Nov. 5, 1910, at Yount, Mo., daughter of Bethel Dave and Maggie Florence Brewer Scott. She and Marion David Smith were married Nov. 18, 1930. He died Jan. 30, 1996.

Smith was a member of the Patton Church of God.

Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Dewel Smith of Des Arc, Mo., the Rev. J.D. Smith of Advance, Mo.; a daughter, Helen Dalton of Farmington; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Mo. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Mark Smith will officiate, with burial in Old Bethel Cemetery in Patton, Mo.
