JACKSON, Mo. -- Florence Marie Reid Richter, 86, of Jackson died Sunday, July 22, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 14, 1914, at Oak Ridge, Mo., daughter of Clarence Glen and Alma Ludwig Samuel. She first married Lrea Reid Jan. 9, 1942. He died March 17, 1972. She and Gilbert Richter were married May 23, 1975.
Richter had been a care giver to the elderly. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Larry Reid of Oak Ridge; a daughter, Betty Borgfield of Jackson; a stepson, Merlin Richter of St. Louis; a stepdaughter, Helen Laurentius of Jackson; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery at Oak Ridge.
