FLORENCE M. BUSBY

BERTRAND -- Florence Mae Busby, 78, of Bertrand, died Wednesday, March 9, 1994, at Bertrand Nursing Facility.

She was born May 16, 1915, in Mississippi County, daughter of John and Minnie Potter Bibb. She and Paul Busby were married Dec. 24, 1931. He died Jan. 20, 1991.

Formerly of Anniston, she was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in East Prairie.

Survivors include six sons, Paul Busby of Dexter, Larry Busby of Anna, Ill., Noel Busby of Colorado Springs, Colo., James Busby of Bernie, Frankie Busby of Yorkville, Ill., Ben Busby of Columbia, Ill.; three daughters, Betty Allen of Sikeston, Dorothy Mosier of Scott City, Freida Watson of Paducah, Ky.; three sisters, Doris Middleton of Cobden, Ill., Freida Powell of Sun City, Ariz., Faye Grace of Columbus, Ohio; 25 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Bolden officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
