NEW MADRID -- Funeral service for Florence Lee Masterson of New Madrid was held Saturday at First Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Orvil McKinney officiated, with burial in Mounds Park Cemetery.
Richards Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Masterson, 90, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Sept. 13, 1902, in New Madrid County, daughter of Oscar and Florence Bizzard Mast. She and Jack Masterson were married Sept. 29, 1920. He died March 15, 1990.
Masterson was a member of First Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include three sons, William "Junior" Masterson of New Madrid, Jimmy Masterson of Belle Chasse, La., Paul Masterson of Jacksonville, Ill.; four daughters, Geraldine Rodgers of Cape Girardeau, Alice Maxine Barron of Salt Lake City, Utah, Nadine Vent of New Madrid, Carolyn Vent of St. Louis; 28 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, son, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
