FLORENCE CALLOW

Florence Ella Callow, 73, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2000, at Heartland Care and Rehab Center.

She was born March 11, 1927, in Chicago, daughter of Harold John and Florence Garey Arend.

Callow was a PBX operator at Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center in Hawthorne, Calif., from 1972-86. She was formerly of Torrance, Calif.

Survivors include two sons, Elmer Callow Jr. of Oran, Mo., Dale Callow of Dallas, Texas; and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ed Carter officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
