CHARLESTON - Flora Mae Williams, 69, of rural Charleston, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 1992 at Charleston Manor.
She was born in Charleston on Aug. 18, 1922 to the late Leonard and Estella Burnett.
She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church of Charleston. A sister preceded her in death.
On Sept. 23, 1946 she married Tommie Williams, who survives of the home. Three sons also survive. They are Henry and Tommie Williams Jr., both of Elgin, Ill., and Michael Williams of Clinton, Ky.
Surviving as well are daughters Patricia and Elaine Williams, both of Charleston; brothers Leonard Burnett Jr. of Chicago Heights, Ill. and Linzie Burnett of St. Louis; sisters Helen Smith of Chicago, Ill. and Minnie Pearl Smith of Wyatt; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Mark Baptist Church. The Rev. Wiley Reed will officiate.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
