BLODGETT -- Flora Mae Lambert, 90, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Jan. 18, 1999, at White County Medical Center in Searcy, Ark.
She was born Sept. 28, 1908, in Birmingham, Ala., daughter of Noah and Margaret Waters Hunter. She and Reno Lambert were married Feb. 26, 1927. He died Jan. 28, 1979.
Lambert resided at Blodgett many years, and was postmistress at Blodgett Post Office several years. She attended Shady Acres Church of Christ.
Survivors include four sons, Billy Lambert of Marquand, Kenneth Lambert of Columbia, Ill., Danny Lambert of Sikeston, Dennis Lambert of Benton; four daughters, Christine Miller of Sikeston, Imogene Sitzes of Poplar Bluff, Dorothy Williams of Searcy, Helen Morphis of Horseshoe Bend, Ark.; 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with Johnny Hester and Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Garden near Morley.
