Flora Garrison

SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Flora Mabel Garrison, 97, of Sedgewickville died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.

She was born Sept. 27, 1906, in Marshall, Ark., daughter of William C. and Laura A. Cummings Ragland. She and Marcus A. Garrison were married in 1929. He died in 1948.

Garrison was a member of the Church of Christ in Grandview, Ark.

Survivors include three sons, Harold Garrison of Marshall, Carson Garrison of Tulsa, Okla., Marcus Garrison of Ann Arbor, Mich.; five daughters, Winona Garrison of Cape Girardeau, Jean Hanners of Sedgewickville, Marjorie Garrison of Jackson, Carolyn Gifford of Lincoln, Neb., Virginia Visel of Shaker Heights, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, six brothers, two sisters, and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Larry Treadwell officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery near Marshall.
