MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Flora Edith Francis, 82, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 25, 1918, at Gordonville, Mo., daughter of Albert and Elizabeth Pittman Myers. She and Robert Francis were married May 14, 1942, in San Bernardino, Calif.
Francis lived in Pleasant Hill, Calif., 38 years, moving to Marble Hill in August. She was a member of Fair Oaks Baptist Church and the Christian Women's Club, both in Concord, Calif.
Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Davies of Santa Rosa, Calif.; a son, Robert Francis of Gaithersburg, Md.; a sister, Edna Hutchison of Flint, Mich.; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel after 10 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel. The Rev. Fred Ritter will officiate. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
