EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Flora Mae Baker, 72, of East Prairie died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at East Prairie Nursing Center.
She was born July 27, 1928, in Tuscaloosa, Ala., daughter of Newborn C. and Sarah Katherine Duncan Griffin. She and Charles Baker were married April 18, 1952.
Baker moved to East Prairie in 1981 from Schiller Park, Ill.
Survivors include five sisters, Ruby Tubbs of Matthews, Mo., Jean Cole of East Prairie, Joan Mueller of Kansas City,, Mo., Addie Griffin of Luxora, Ark., and Mary Davis of Osceola, Ark.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie from 6-9 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Thomas Snavely and Denny Cole officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
