FLOELLA BRETZ

GLEN ALLEN -- Floella Bretz, 79, of Glen Allen died Sunday, Nov. 24, 1996, at the home of a grandson in St. Louis.

She was born June 13, 1917, at Marble Hill, daughter of Fred and Myrtle M. Russell Long. She and Stanley W. Bretz were married May 15, 1959. He died April 9, 1987.

Bretz was a member of New Trace Creek Baptist Church and VFW Auxiliary 5900.

Survivors include three brothers, the Rev. Florence Long of Marble Hill, Everett Long of Smithboro, Ill., Ted Long of Moro, Ill.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Frederick Mouser and Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Glen Allen Cemetery.
