DEXTER -- Funeral service for Fleta M. Jones of Dexter will be held at 1 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Dallas Reagan will officiate, with burial in Dexter Cemetery.
Jones, 75, died Tuesday, April 5, 1994, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 21, 1918, at Sikeston, daughter of Elonzo E. and Irene Strong Waldrup. She married Charles Archie Jones, who preceded her in death.
Jones had lived here 43 years, and was employed many years at Hickory Log Restaurant.
Survivors include three sons, C.M. Jones of Bloomfield, Jim Jones of Dexter, John Jones of Tupelo, Miss.; seven daughters, Jerry Davis and Barbara Coleman of Dexter, Jeanette McAnulty of Memphis, Tenn., Peggy Carson of Hillsboro, Marty Palmer of Lecanto, Fla., Anita Baldwin of Knob Noster, Doris Sacca of Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, Opal Gasser of Dudley; 31 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
