APPLE CREEK, Mo. -- Flavian A. "Pete" Schnurbusch, 86, of Apple Creek passed away Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born April 29, 1935, in Apple Creek to Joseph L. and Hermina Wingerter Schnurbusch.
Flavian was a construction worker. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek.
Survivors include his sister, Dorothy M. Buchheit of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Wallace Schnurbusch, Joseph Schnurbusch Jr., James Schnurbusch and Kenneth Schnurbusch; four sisters, Mildred Throgmorton, Wilberta Amschler, Rosella Kutz and Delphine Schnurbusch; two stepbrothers, Howard Blair and John Blair; and stepsister, Ruby Kasten.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Patrick Christopher officiating. Burial with military graveside honors provided by the VFW will be at St. Michael's Cemetery in Apple Creek.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau or St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek.
