Flavian Ernst

PERRYVILLE, Mo.--Flavian B. Ernst, 89, of Perryville died Saturday, June 22, 2002, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born April 14, 1913, at Biehle, Mo., son of Joseph and Catherine Wingerter Ernst. He and Cleora Sutterer were married Jan. 19, 1936.

Ernst owned and operated a service station and repair shop in McBride, Mo. He was also a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, Mo.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Denis, Michael, Richard and Robert Ernst, all of Perryville; one daughter, Cynthia Stearns of Perryville; one brother, Wilfred Ernst of Perryville; 15 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Chapel from 5-9 p.m. Monday and 6:30-9:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Victory in Sereno. The Rev. Francis Agnew will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
