ANNISTON -- Finley Elbert Tatum, 84, of Anniston, died Thursday, July 20, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Sept. 18, 1910, in Mississippi County, son of William N. and Kate Thurman Tatum. He and LaDonna Bailey were married Dec. 23, 1983.

Tatum had farmed, and was a member of Anniston Christian Church.

Survivors include a son, Bill Tatum of Anniston; a stepson, Jeff Mathis of East Prairie; a sister, Willie Chenault of Little Rock, Ark., and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Martin Lucas officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Cemetery.
