SIKESTON, Mo. -- Ferrell A. Gossett, 90, of Sikeston, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002 at the Clearview Nursing Center. Born Nov. 16, 1911, in Hartman, Ark., she was the daughter of Frank and Winnie Hardin Bennett. On Feb. 6, 1934, in New Madrid, Mo., she was married to Phillip T. Gossett. He died Sept. 16, 1957...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Ferrell A. Gossett, 90, of Sikeston, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002 at the Clearview Nursing Center.

Born Nov. 16, 1911, in Hartman, Ark., she was the daughter of Frank and Winnie Hardin Bennett.

On Feb. 6, 1934, in New Madrid, Mo., she was married to Phillip T. Gossett. He died Sept. 16, 1957.

She was a member of New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church and lived in Crowder, Mo., for 25 years before moving to Sikeston.

Survivors include a son, Phillip Gossett of Doniphan, Mo.; two daughters, Peggy Greene of London, Ohio, Bobbie Vines of Sikeston; a brother, Lester Bennett of St. Louis; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Ray Ward officiating. Burial will take place in Mounds Park Cemetery in Lilbourn, Mo.
