PUXICO -- Fernie Julius, 70, of Puxico died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at her home.
She was born Sept. 25, 1929, in Puxico, daughter of Lestie and Minnie Mossman O'Neal. She and Carl Calvin Julius were married June 30, 1951, in Piggott, Ark. He died April 4, 1979.
Julius lived in the Puxico area all her life. She was a member of Corinth Church.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Julius of Fisk, Calvin and Ronald Julius of Puxico; five daughters, Julia Vaughn of Dexter, Debra Shirrell of Zalma, Aline Eubanks of Bloomfield, Sondra Julius and Rose Denny of Puxico.
Also surviving are three brothers, Russell O'Neal of Dudley, Freeman O'Neal of Wappapello, Gene O'Neal of Puxico; four sisters, Lois Caldwell of Puxico, Virginia Spears of Advance, Helen Voss of St. Louis, Loreda Janson of Dexter; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three children and a sister.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Rock Hill Cemetery.
